Glorious Land Academy is much more than just a church and a school…
We are feeding almost 800 students two meals a day. Education is their only opportunity to get out of the slums of Mukuru. Many of our students have tested so well that they were given scholarships to college. Last year glorious land Academy has rated the fourth best school in Nairobi which made local news.
We provide food and housing for 30 orphans. Currently, Mukuru people are being forced out of their homes, with no place to go glorious land Academy is offering shelter to many who would otherwise be homeless. A few years ago there was a fire in my kuru glorious land Academy that provided shelter for 30 people until new living arrangements were made.
Pastor Boniface Mangetti has a tremendous outreach in the slums. He has almost 1200 people that attend his church. Recently traveled to a funeral in South Kenya where almost 100 Maasai tribesmen accepted Jesus.
