Your $40 a month helps provide a child's education, meals, clothing, safe housing, care and mentorship. You'll receive photographs, updates, and letters or drawings through Project Restore Hope and Glorious and your child will know that someone knows their name, believes in them, and is praying for them.

    Abel's Story

    Abel was born on Christmas Day in Bungoma County. He was orphaned at a young age and grew up without the care and guidance of his parents. His childhood circumstances were difficult, but his story changed when Bishop Boniface

    Mang’eti reached out to him and welcomed him into Glorious Gospel Centre. Abel now lives at Glorious Group of Schools, where he has a safe place to stay, regular meals, healthcare and the support he needs to continue his education. He is now a Form 4 candidate preparing for his final secondary school national examinations.

    Life at Glorious

    Having a stable place to live and the support of the Glorious community has allowed Abel to concentrate on his education and prepare for the next stage of his life. His final year of secondary school is an important time for him. Alongside his studies, he continues to develop his interests and think about the future he wants to build. Abel particularly enjoys English. The subject gives him an opportunity to develop his communication and writing skills, which connect closely with his dream of becoming a journalist.

    Abel hopes to become a journalist. He wants to tell stories that matter and help people understand issues affecting their communities. His own experiences have given him an interest in the lives of people who may not always have an opportunity to be heard. Through education, Abel is working toward developing the knowledge and communication skills he will need to pursue journalism in the future.

Ashley now has a safe place to live, regular meals, clothing and an opportunity to continue her education at Glorious Group of Schools. The stability around her has given her the chance to concentrate on school and think about the future she wants for herself.

    At Glorious, Ashley has access to the everyday support that helps a child remain in school and continue growing. Her education is an important part of her journey. She particularly enjoys English, a subject that gives her an opportunity to develop her writing and communication skills. With the support of Project Restore Hope and the Glorious community, Ashley continues her secondary education while preparing for the next chapter of her life.

    Anthony's Story

    Anthony knows what it means to lose almost everything at a young age. After losing both of his parents, he found himself living on the streets of Nairobi. Life became a daily struggle. There were days when food was uncertain, and there was little stability or security around him. His life began to change when Bishop Boniface Mang’eti reached out to him and helped him leave street life behind.

    Anthony was welcomed into the Glorious community, where he now has a safe place to live, regular meals, an opportunity to attend school, and people who care about what happens to him. Today, he is a Form 3 student at Glorious Group of Schools. He is building a different future from the one his childhood circumstances seemed to have given him.

    Life at Glorious

    For Anthony, having a safe place to call home has made a real difference. He can wake up knowing where he will sleep, go to class, study, eat his meals and spend time with people who care about him. He has also received guidance and encouragement as he continues his education. The support provided through Project Restore Hope and the center has given Anthony room to focus on school and think about what he wants his life to become.

    What Anthony Hopes to Become

    Anthony dreams of becoming a politician and public servant. His own experiences have shaped the way he looks at people who are struggling. He wants to serve others, especially children and families who face difficulties similar to those he has experienced. He enjoys Mathematics because he likes the way it challenges him to think, solve problems and find answers.

    Ann's Story

    Ann grew up in Kitui as an orphan. From an early age, she had to face life without the care and financial security that many children depend on. Her circumstances changed when Bishop Boniface Mang’eti reached out to vulnerable children in need. Ann was welcomed into Glorious Gospel Centre, where she found a safe place to live and an opportunity to continue her education. Today, Ann has access to housing, daily meals, clothing and a supportive learning environment at Glorious Group of Schools.

    Life at Glorious

    Having a safe and stable place to live has given Ann an opportunity to concentrate on school. She receives regular meals, learning support and care from the people around her. These simple things have made it possible for her to focus more on her education and think about what she would like to do in the future.

    Through Project Restore Hope and the center, Ann has also found a community where she can grow with greater security and encouragement.

    What Ann Hopes to Become

    Ann dreams of becoming an Environmental Scientist. She is interested in protecting the environment, caring for natural resources and finding better ways of producing food while looking after the land. Her favorite subject is Agriculture. She enjoys learning about crops, animals and soil conservation, areas that connect closely with the future she hopes to pursue.

    Alice's Story

    Alice lost her parents when she was very young in Vihiga County. Growing up without them meant that she had to face circumstances that were difficult for a child. Things began to change when Bishop Boniface Mang’eti reached out to her and welcomed her into Glorious Gospel Centre. Alice now lives at Glorious Group of Schools, where she has a place to stay, regular meals and the opportunity to continue her education. These are simple things, but having them consistently has made a difference in her life. She can go to school, study and look ahead instead of having to worry about where her next meal or a safe place to sleep will come from.

    Life at Glorious

    Alice is currently in Form 3. She enjoys Business Studies, a subject that has given her an interest in how businesses work and how people can turn ideas into something useful. Her education is also giving her time to think about the kind of work she would like to do when she finishes school. For Alice, that future involves running a business of her own.

    Alice hopes to become a business entrepreneur. She would like to build businesses that create opportunities for other people, including families who are struggling. She is interested in the practical side of business and wants to learn how good ideas can become sustainable businesses.     At Glorious, Agatha is continuing her education as a Grade 9 student. She particularly enjoys Mathematics. The subject challenges her to think carefully, work through problems and look at how different ideas fit together. The support provided by Project Restore Hope and the Glorious community helps Agatha remain in school and continue developing her abilities as she moves through junior secondary education.

    Agatha dreams of becoming an architect. She is interested in how buildings and spaces are designed and how thoughtful design can make places useful, safe and welcoming for the people who use them.
