Your $40 a month helps provide a child's education, meals, clothing, safe housing, care and mentorship. You'll receive photographs, updates, and letters or drawings through Project Restore Hope and Glorious — and your child will know that someone knows their name, believes in them, and is praying for them.

Abel's Story
Abel was born on Christmas Day in Bungoma County. He was orphaned at a young age and grew up without the care and guidance of his parents. His childhood circumstances were difficult, but his story changed when Bishop Boniface
Mang’eti reached out to him and welcomed him into Glorious Gospel Centre. Abel now lives at Glorious Group of Schools, where he has a safe place to stay, regular meals, healthcare and the support he needs to continue his education. He is now a Form 4 candidate preparing for his final secondary school national examinations.
Life at Glorious
Having a stable place to live and the support of the Glorious community has allowed Abel to concentrate on his education and prepare for the next stage of his life. His final year of secondary school is an important time for him. Alongside his studies, he continues to develop his interests and think about the future he wants to build. Abel particularly enjoys English. The subject gives him an opportunity to develop his communication and writing skills, which connect closely with his dream of becoming a journalist.
His Dream for the Future
Abel hopes to become a journalist. He wants to tell stories that matter and help people understand issues affecting their communities. His own experiences have given him an interest in the lives of people who may not always have an opportunity to be heard. Through education, Abel is working toward developing the knowledge and communication skills he will need to pursue journalism in the future.

Ashley's Story
Ashley was orphaned at a young age in Kisii County. Growing up without her parents brought challenges, including periods when some of her basic needs were not consistently met. Her circumstances changed when Bishop Boniface Mang’eti reached out to her and welcomed her into Glorious Gospel Centre. Ashley now has a safe place to live, regular meals, clothing and an opportunity to continue her education at Glorious Group of Schools. The stability around her has given her the chance to concentrate on school and think about the future she wants for herself.
Life at Glorious
At Glorious, Ashley has access to the everyday support that helps a child remain in school and continue growing. Her education is an important part of her journey. She particularly enjoys English, a subject that gives her an opportunity to develop her writing and communication skills. With the support of Project Restore Hope and the Glorious community, Ashley continues her secondary education while preparing for the next chapter of her life.

Students on scholarship

Over one hundred children and young people are on the Project Restore Hope scholarship programme, in school, in college, and at university. Every new sponsor adds another name to this list.

Osman Adan

Osman Adan completed his KCSE in 2024 with a B- and dreams of pursuing a Bachelor of Pharmacy. However, severe financial hardship and his father’s illness have prevented him from joining university.
With support from GLOHA Family Welfare and Project Restore Hope, Osman has renewed hope of continuing his education and becoming a pharmacist who can serve his community.
Zilpah Shirwatso

Zilpah Shirwatso, a 20-year-old from Uasin Gishu County, is preparing to pursue a Bachelor of Commerce at Machakos University. Financial challenges had delayed her university journey, but a scholarship from GLOHA Family Welfare and Project Restore Hope has brought her closer to achieving her dream.

Walter Rawayo

Walter Rawayo, a first-born son from Busia County, is pursuing Law at the Kenya School of Law despite significant financial challenges. With school fees, accommodation, food, and other essential expenses placing a heavy burden on his family, staying in school has not been easy.
Support from GLOHA Family Welfare and Project Restore Hope has given Walter renewed hope and helped ease the financial burden as he works toward his dream of becoming a lawyer.
