My name is Verginia Amweno, and I am 17 years old. I was born and raised in Busia County. I come from a humble family, and I have always believed that education can give me a better future and help me become independent.

I started my primary education at Amaase Primary School and later joined St. Peters Aterait for my secondary education. Through determination and hard work, I was able to complete my secondary education and pursue my dream of continuing with higher education.

I have been blessed with the opportunity to pursue Business Management, a course that I believe will give me practical skills and prepare me for a better future. The tuition cost is approximately KSh 70,000 per year.

Both of my parents are alive. For most of my life, my family has depended mainly on one parent who works to provide for us. Although my parents have always tried their best, meeting the cost of higher education has been difficult.

At one point, financial difficulties forced me to defer my studies. One year has already passed, and being away from school has been painful because I know how much I want to continue my education and build a career.

During this difficult period, my father heard about Gloha Family Welfare and decided to join and seek financial assistance. This gave our family a reason to hope again.

I am therefore humbly asking Gloha Family Welfare and Project Restore Hope, through the leadership of Bishop Bonface Mange'ti, to consider supporting me so that I can return to my studies and complete my education.

I want to pursue Business Management, build a successful career, support my family, and become someone who can contribute positively to my community. I know that education is an opportunity that can change the direction of my life, and I do not want financial difficulties to take that opportunity away from me.

I sincerely thank Gloha Family Welfare and Project Restore Hope for intervening in the lives of young people like me. Because of your support and the hope you are giving families, I can see a new possibility for my future.
